What Makes PPS Injection Molding Different — and When Does It Replace Metal?
PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) is the semi-crystalline resin you for when the part sits at 180–220 °C continuous, must resist every solvent in the shop, and still has to hold tight tolerances after 10,000 hours in service. Nothing else in the engineering-resin catalog matches that combination — PEEK goes higher, but at 3–5× the resin cost; PA66 and PBT fall short above 150 °C.
