§ — FAQ

Common Questions

How quickly will I hear back?

A named engineer responds within 24 hours on business days. If you attach a STEP file, expect a full DFM report -- not just a price -- in the same reply.

What file formats do you accept?

STEP and IGES for 3D models; PDF, DWG, and DXF for 2D drawings. If you only have a sketch or reference sample, describe it in the message and we will advise next steps.

Is the DFM review really free?

Yes. No obligation, no deposit required. The DFM report carries the name and direct contact of the engineer who will cut your steel if you proceed.

Who owns the mold after production?

You do. Exclusive tooling rights, a full spare parts list, and a five-year maintenance warranty are documented in every tooling agreement. Reserved production capacity is available on request.

What is the typical lead time?

Mold fabrication is 25–35 days from approved design to T1 sample. Air DDP delivery to North America or Europe adds 5–7 days. Ocean freight is available for larger tooling sets.

Do you handle NDA-protected designs?

Yes. We sign mutual NDAs before any design files are shared or reviewed. Mention it in your message and we will send the agreement before the DFM review begins.
